RED
Click here to see the opening of RED Gouverneur Healthcare Services in New York Chinatown ushered in the Year of the Ox with an afternoon of Chinese New
Year festivities for the seniors in their nursing facility. RED, my Chinese New Year photo exhibit is on view in the lobby
of Gouverneur, located at 227 Madison St. in New York through February 20, as part of the celebration.
RED is
part of a series of art exhibitions in 2009 celebrating the 73rd anniversary of the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation
Art Collection. These events showcase established and emerging artists and offer museums, galleries, educators and the general
public the opportunity to become familiar with the HHC Art Collection. This is part of the New York City Health and Hospitals
Corporations philosophy of supporting the community it serves. About Gouverneur Healthcare Services: Gouverneur
Healthcare Services, a member of the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporations South Manhattan Health Network, has been
meeting the healthcare needs of New Yorkers for more than a century. Conveniently located on Manhattans Lower East Side and
easily accessible by mass transportation, Gouverneur provides comprehensive ambulatory care services and operates a 210-bed
Nursing Facility. Community health centers include Judson Health Center, Roberto Clemente Center, Smith Family Health Center

and Clinton Sts. New York City Directions: Take the F Train to East Broadway. Turn left on Madison Street and walk
two blocks to the hospital.

and companies in establishing their documentary photo archive. She has been documenting her colleagues and contemporaries
in the arts, fashion and journalism since making her stage debut as Liat in the National Tour of South Pacific, with Robert
Goulet and Barbara Eden.
